The Maldives | efficiency in paradise
The energy supply of the Maldives Islands is mainly provided by diesel gensets. Until now the conventional energy supply causes audible and aerial pollution and is overall very expensive. Therefore the Republic of Maldives has decided to pioneer new ways. DHYBRID Power Systems has been contracted for this project that will be realized in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment and Energy of the Republic of Maldives and the World Bank to make a start into a more sustainable future of the Maldives Islands.
